Dan, what are your thoughts on the Panthers going in a different direction and selecting Drouin at the #2 spot? He played with Huberdeau at the World Jr. Hockey Championships and they were lights out!

As discussed before, a Jones selection could package up other defenseman-etc (kulikov) for a centerman deal.

Dan, I don;t think Weiss will be coming back. Asking too much and other teams are willing to pay that price. I wouldn't mind seeing Lecavalier in a Panther uniform. I know we are probably drafting Jones which is awesome but a Huberdeau, Lecavalier, Drouin line would be fun to watch. Great ticket seller for all the snowbirds also.

Tallon has talked to Colorado about the trading up to the top pick. That just shows Weiss is on the way out. Tallon wants Mac we need a center. If for some reason they don't trade and don't draft Jones, then this team deserves to keep on losing for years to come. Drouin being selected by the panters would make our top forwards the smallest in the NHL. That's not how you build a team.

He's also said to have tried some Center position. And his hockey smarts are so high it is believed he could play Center on the big stage. Id take him over Jones if im Flor.

Well you are not Ballardhitshard.. because he was pretty much pregnant thinking about Drouin. I agree. We need Barkov, we really do. OR, we can draft Jones and maybe sign Vinny as I hear our talks with him went really well. If Colorado takes MacKinnon, they will have about 56 centers on their roster, we should try and trade for O'Reilly or Stastny.. Kulikov would have to go the other way.

What more needs to be said? He isn't worth the money and your team would be better off not adding a bad contract.
